1. How was Nasreddin treated at the gate the first time?

Ans: Nasreddin was treated poorly and with disrespect. The servant judged him by his clothes and did not allow him to enter.

2. Did the rich man recognize Nasreddin the first time?Give reasons for your answer.

Ans: No, the rich man did not recognize Nasreddin the first time because Nasreddin was in his poor clothes and the rich man judged him based on his appearance rather than recognizing his wisdom or identity.

3. Why did the servant not stop Nasreddin when he came back the second time?

Ans: The servant did not stop Nasreddin the second time because he was dressed in excellent clothes,which indicated high position and prosperity.

4. Mullah sahib! What are you doing? Why did the rich man make this remark?

Ans: The rich man made this remark when he saw Nasreddin eating his food in an unusual manner, possibly to draw attention to the nonsense of judging someone based on their clothing.

5. Why did the rich man hung his head in shame?

Ans: The rich man hung his head in shame because he realized his mistake in judging  Nasreddin by his clothes rather than his character and wisdom.
